AccessAbility Services

The AccessAbility Services is a system that provides academic support for UW students who have permanent or temporary disabilities. If you think you need help, do not hesitate to visit the AccessAbility Online Service for note-taking support and adaptive technology. Most importantly, your involvement with AccessAbility Services will not be identified on official university records, academic transcripts or graduation documentation.

If you are new to AccessAbility Services, here are the steps you have to follow to register:

  1. Apply online here. You must upload your disability verification form.
  2. The University reviews your application. Afterwards, you must attend a New Student Advising and Registration Appointment.
  3. The admission is complete. You now have the privilege to select accommodations and book your exams.

For any accommodation request, log into AccessAbility Online with your student ID.

If you want to become a notetaker for other students, here are the requirements:

  • Attend class on a regular basis.
  • Have legible hand-writing or types notes.
  • Enjoy helping others.
